The statistics and this site are in the midst of an overhaul. So that the statistics can be up to date and readily accessible, they are migrating from their humble Excel spreadsheet and sporadic posts in the Kaune Posting Statistics thread to a shiny new SQL database and their very own web pages that can update the statistics on their own.
The migration process is mostly done. The SQL database is up and running, and most of the salient statistics are being pulled out of it as displayed to the left. A couple of the stats that cover how often Karune responds to his own threads vs. others and threads that have "Karune" in the subject vs. ones that don't are currently left behind.
Still to do is fully automating the collection of Karune's posting information off of battle.net. This is actually painfully close to being done. In the meantime I still need to enter the information manually. Fortunately Karune has made it easy on me by not posting at all last week. Slightly more distant is writing the scripts to draw in the charts automatically. For now the charts on the charts page will lag behind horribly, and the pie charts on the side bar will have charming placeholder graphics.
